7:00pm - Camping at Rock Island Lodge

Got to camp via a 5km dirt road and set up our tent right on the shores of Lake Superior. Probably the most beautiful campsite you will ever see, although it was pretty clear within twenty minutes that we might catch hypothermia. Probably not helped by the fact that we had a small cooler malfunction and our sleeping bags were drenched in melted ice. We tried to dry them over the fire, which gave us an excuse to just sit and enjoy the view all night.
